horrible decal shop ~ Sandys Custom Auto in Jacksboro TN

What is that, colored duct tape from the hardware store? Sucks. So many people don't take pride in what they do. My philosophy is 100% all the time, every time, regardless of what you are doing.

OK guys here is the up date.. after removing the junk decal in one section after seeing something funny (a lump under the material) he finds that the installer destroyed most of the rub rail rubber cutting chunks off.. and there were tons of RZR blade scratches in the hull.. so he calls state farm insurance. they say "no problem property damage we will handle it from here, take boat to our local approved reputable shop for the wrap that you should have gotten.." so now the boat is at the shop being stripped the designer is making the rendering of the design i sent, boat is getting a full bow to stern waterline to top rail wrap full color 3M 2 mil made to size wrap with 2mil clear top layer. 3 year material and a 10 year fade separate warranty.. so it will take couple days for print and wrap then sit for 4 days then clear, sit for 5 and he will tow from TN to SC for our 4 day on the lake 4th of July party.. pics of FW and the Red Rider to come.. when he sends me the finalized approved rendering ill post..

That is good. I hope that State Farm files suit against Sandy's Custom Crap Auto.

Well we were talking back and forth all day yesterday and because of where the cuts and damage was that buddy found while removing the bad decals we decided to change up the design a bit. Some of y'all will think its too loud. We don't care. We are party people and fun in the sun is the ne of the game.

First here is the extensive cuts in the gel cote.

And the new design that I made for the boat. Frame is going got be black, the windshield will get a 15% tint.

So now the guy is out his deductible and his insurance is going to go up due to filing a claim. I would be pissed.

So far looks like they agent Told him that it was meg agent damage by a shop not an incident from another boat it will not effect his premium. $150 a year ooooh big deal. Also they said he would have to pay his $65 deductible. Bundali g with State Farm and having multiple policies makes for great rates. I am similar setup. 9 policies same agent. Father inlaw has 13 with them and brothers law has 4. The employees know me by name when I call top notch service.

Well the boat is at the shop. Should have some progress pics in the next day or so.

Yes it is unique that's shat he asked for and he loves the design. At end of the day as long as the customer is happy that's all that matters. And I did a free design for a friend that I can log as being my art on a boat, another item to the portfolio.

well the insurance company came thru with a top notch shop...
buddy picked it up about 15 min ago and is headed to get the windshield tinted

5% tint on the windshield. Done and done. Off to the house for painting flat black plasti dip on the windshield frame. Durable no scuffing needed and peal it off if you sell and the frame is still polished. Love the product recommended it to buddy and I have used it so many times so many applications
