" It's nothing money can't fix" just need to find the money tree. To add salt to the wound the wife's washer and dryer gave up the ghost they were on there last legs and gave out this week. It's getting expensive real fast around here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is what I have spent on boating so far:

Guys, food for thought.

Upon diagnosis of issues with my boat, I came upon a recall from Volvo about
an ECU mount that transmits too much vibration to the ECU and makes it
go bad/intermittent.

I do not have the exact recall number, but basically, they will provide
another mount with rubber isolating grommets that should make "similar" issues go away...

This might apply to you.

Hope this helps!

I think that recall was several years ago.
I had the ECU go bad on my engine and replaced it with the ECU with the rubber isolation mounts -- no issues since then, roughly 2-3 years ago.
MY engine is a 2003 5.7Gi --- I think a lot of the 5.7L's have that ECU.
