That is badass! Love the old school flair. The styling is straight from the auto world versus boat.

Old Century's were cool. Too bad the company lost it's groove when the moved to Florida in the mid 80s. All the stuff they made in Manistee, MI was pretty cool.

Gotta love those classics. Not many boats today get cooler with age. But these sure do.

I live right in the heart of a major wood/classic boat meca.

Tomorrow is probably one of the bigger shows in the country:

http://www.lchistorical.org/boatfest.html

Here in Barbeau, we are somewhat removed from the full wood boat culture, but I currently have 3-4 long time customers with wood boats. A couple of nice Chris Craft Sea Skiffs and a 50' Constellation call my marina home. We also have the occasional visitors that have some nice boats.

I love wood boats, but not sure I would ever want to own one.

Those older Centurys are a nice alternative...especially the f/g Resorters, Arabians and others that were either v-drive or straight drive. The f/g - wood combo boats like the Sabre really are an interesting history lesson. F/G upper deck and traditional wood hull. It sort of seems like all the nightmares of owning a wood boat without the beauty of a perfectly finished deck.
