The altercation started in the Marina office around 1 today after HR entered and demanded to know why his marina access gate key was turned off.. He was told that since he was no longer part of the marina residents, that it was standard procedure until the key was returned. Evidently HR wasn't happy with this answer and started becoming belligerent and shoved the Harbor Master which started a fight and culminated in HR biting part of the Harbor Masters finger off (hence the previously reported blood) and fled the office. He was apprehended in front of DE dock access gates where you all know the rest of the story.

Well, I can feel sorry for his stupidity, pig-headedness, and the colossal waste of effort and expense that he put into the FH, but if the above is true, I cannot feel sorry for him anymore :evil:

the guy is obviously a complete moron, while there is some crapsmanship in his vessel it was a complete waise of time and money. he could have bought a seaworthy vessel and already been in Hawaii by now.
he is going to jail and his "boat" is going to come apart in the meantime

if he uses a bail bonds its only 10% of the 11K so not that big a deal im sure Viking has that 1,100 cash to bail out his dad.. as for the charges he will get slapped with a fine and for fit his license for a year.. in the end it will be a delay on his departure.. i doubt he has a retainer on a lawyer that can wrap all this up with the quickness. in the end he is stupid obviously.. i keep the family lawyer on retainer just incase i may need him and his team.. besides the point i have never needed him.. but HR wow man bite the HM finger off seriously! grow up.. some people simply need a good ass wooping.. i mean beat to the ground life changing beating to get the since into there head.. and from the comments and actions HR has shown int he past he has a hot temper and is easily fired up.. not a good trait for dealing with people in society.. i doubt that the CA government will waist much time on him.. they should force him to sea and then test fire one of our missiles on his ass. Video tape it obviously

The charges are a mistomener. Also if finger was severed an ambulance would have attended the party. In addition assault charges would have been on the booking list. None the less to the gallows he goes

I, for one, don't want to see catastrophe. Sure he is way over his head -- although he gets an A for effort. But unfortunately if he does go down catastrophically, innocent people will be casualties. At the very least the family goes down. But he could hurt or kill others too. That would be very sad for all involved. So I hope when he goes down its in shallow water and friendly seas. Or -- they all realize what's going to happen and find a safe place to watch.

what I dont understand is why the guy didnt pay his fines and go to court he had the money at one time before he "sunk" it into that ugly craft

I'd encourage others to exercise care commenting without more facts being available. Personally, I'd recommend joining SA if you want to participate in the commentary. We've got a good overall vibe on these forums, it'd be great to keep it that way.

As for warrants, there's any number of ways someone can easily make mistakes that might lead to them being unaware of how something has been handled by the courts, leading to there being something outstanding.

wih further reading... NO FINGERS WERE BITTEN OFF... a finger was busted and thus was the source of the blood.. the facts come out... BUSTED not BITTEN... sounds similar so i can see how a bystander can mishear the information..

well the world could use a few less stupid (mentally handicapped excluded) people i feel that they are becoming the majority along with overweight people
