I have a 2007 Four Winns Horizon 210 and I really love it. However, I really like the look of the Mediterranean Seating that is offered in the Horizon 220, not to mention the thought of having the additional foot in length in the boat. I would like to know what owners of the FW Horizon 220 think of its layout, if they like the Mediterranean Seating, and if the ride is better or the same as the Horizon 210. Also, is it worth the additional cost between the two boats? Thanks and I appreciate your opinion and reply.

I can say I'm a fan of the bench seats.....
It allows me to store an extra set of ski's under there as well... without bending them 90 degrees!

I got an '05 210 (same as 06, 07 220) and we love the seating. The captains chairs are pretty snug with the u shaped bench though. Ideally I'd like FW to put in a few more inches clearance there.

We like the sun pad set up and don't mind the center walking area. It came with a fill in cushion.

I do love the locker storage on the sides of the pad.

+1 to the above. I've not been in a 210 to where I can compare them, but I've been very pleased with mine. The seating, both on the sunpad and the cockpit bench area, is great-roomy and comfortable. The captain's chairs require a little adjustment forward to be able to swivel them around to fact the stern, but it can be done relatively easily after you do it a few times.

I'd recommend the 220 just based on the interior differences and the sunpad. Surprisingly, I have more storage than I can use.

I would agree with Paul regarding storage. I had originally ordered a 07 210 but ended up buying a 220 and am glad I did. The deciding factors for me were the storage, the larger bow area (I'm 6'2" and can actually stretch out) and most importantly the Bravo III which I couldn't get on the 210. I haven't been on a 210 but am very happy with the layout of my 220.

I have a 99 220 Horizon. U shape seating & 2 captians. It has been a great boat. Actually thinking of letting it go this spring for a larger cruiser. Great multi purpose boat, have fished and gone from port to port on lake Michigan, towed to numerous smaller lakes for a day on the water with the kids. Either boat I am sure you will love but my vote is the H220.

Big Blue, just to throw my 2 cents in, we just went to the boat show and will be purchasing the H210ss. I was wanting the 220, but the big limitation for me, since I'm 6'8" was the drivers seat in the 220. I couldn't sit in the drivers seat due to the u-wrap seating not allowing the seat to move back far enough. I can sit in the 210 with minimal clearance, but the dealer is even going to move the drivers side seat post back a few inches for me, making my decision clear. This wouldn't be an option in the 220. A friend of mine who owns a 23 ft Crownline, went on our test drive with us and commented several times how nice the ride was in the 210. He said he was impressed. I was just giddy with excitement, so it was great to have him along.

Congratulations on your new boat, Guppy! Wow, you're a tall guy. I can definitely understand your reasoning for a buying a 210 over a 220. You will love the 210 SS. Congrats once again.
