I swapped out the stainless prop for the aluminum spare and now it goes in reverse ?? go figure. The stainless prop has a Guardian hub kit and the shoulders are definitely smoothed off. Not sure why it would go forward and not backward ?? but at least it works now and I have a couple more guardian hubs on order.
Glad I tried, no telling how much it would have cost to take boat out of water and run tests.
