Did a search looking for experiences with Axius systems & saw a lot of negative feedback around 2009-2010. Curious to hear if anything has changed / improved for FW owners with Axius systems. We are considering 338's with bow thrusters versus maybe a 318 with the Axius system. After so much negative info from 2010+/-, now we are kind of feeling scared away from an Axius equipped boat unless we hear otherwise. It is a shame, because it seems like such a cool system with the ease of docking & skyhook capability (which sounded like it wasn't enabled initially???) Any thoughts????

My buddy with the 2009 V358 has not mentioned any issues and when I drove the boat it seems flawless. The drives clanked more than I would have thought but you feel like you are playing a video game when driving.

I have the DTS w/ Bow Thruster and although its not exactly the same, I love the agility. We were at the gas dock this past weekend and were able to move virtually sideways away from the dock using the throttles (port in reverse, starboard forward in bursts) and the bow thruster. Practice really helps with moves like this.

I have found the bow thruster to be handy and you do get used to people calling you a cheater. I am more comfortable on windy days.
