That's the half of it. The nose sits under the dock so every time there's a wave it slams the deck.

If I'm not mistaken I'm pretty sure it's an ancient Sea Ray. The guy is a tool. He has to get people to launch his boat for him he can't back a trailer up.

Don't laugh. It will be rubbing Rics gelcoat when the wind picks up.
I've seen this use of bungee docklines here in MI too. At least his look new. The boat I saw here looked like they picked up the bungee straps off the side of the road.

I'm not going to miss $16 potentially saving my boat from damage when his lets go. Ordering 4 lines for him when I order some replacement solar LED lights for my slip. He's just going to come out and see his boat rigged correctly. Wouldn't be the first time I've done that to someone on my dock.

Walmart carries these the cheapest. Over a year old and the ones that didn't get lost/broken still work perfect. Red/Green at the enterence to my slip. A yellow one marking a post not far away, and some white ones around the slip.

Cleats are not needed. Inland lake. The lines stay tied to the dock posts, only to be adjusted twice a year. One in winter when the water levels drop and once in summer when they go up.

Sometimes you see a boat that evokes the same reaction as an abused puppy in a pound. Like that one.

Crap like that is exactly why I will not slip my boat in a double slip. Did it once, bought the t-shirt, never again.

His boat is dirty as hell too, look at the upholstery. Its why I never park my car next to a dinged up beater.
