OK... Well it looks like me and the GLW and she not that fussed. Thanks Daz. That's a good idea. Might check out the seals, penguins and dolphins at Sorrento if they haven't frozen.

Has anybody cruised around the protected channels and bays south of Hobart ? I hear it is good.

Graham

@ deafwish Oh yes, especially if the girl on the box comes with it!

Instead I'm hooking the caravan up and heading to Qld for some warmth in a week or so. Back mid August and then out in the boat in September.

Well, back from sunny Queensland. Now all I have to figure out is how to hook up the caravan AND boat to the car!! Wish I had my boat up at Hervey Bay - weather was perfect, fish biting and lots of whales.

Now just waiting for the weather to co-operate this week in Melbourne so I can get out on the bay.

Hi all. This weekend looking a little average for Melbourne. Also getting a little itchy.
Have just booked in at Lake Hume for the Cup Weekend. 98% full so should be plenty of new scenery.
Have you guys been there before ?

Lake Hume: 20,000 hectares of different scenery. Nice cabins right on the waters edge. Grass to the waters edge.
Drink and easily find the cabin.! Leave the boat in. Might be a little cool for skiing in November but have a wet suit. Haven't been boating there before.
If weather is crap, not far to Rutherglen

Hi guys - long time since I have been on here. I've had the Crownline for 3.5 years now - still enjoying every weekend. For those who don't know me from before, I was choosing between a Crownline and a Four Winns, at the time the Crownline slightly had the edge for me, but they are both great boats!

So here's what we do with the boat these days -

Hello mates!!!!! How you going?! Im from Texas but i actually get to enjoy my winter because ive been working in Australia for the past month!!..A last minute opportunity came up and I took. So glad i did! It seems to hail alot in Australia so im helping a local company fix hail damage on cars. Its beautiful there. When I say beautiful referring to the Gold Coast. Got to do alittle snorkeling and the whole time I was in the water all I could think about was I wished I had my boat! (And sharks). Working in a town called Tawoomba. Not much to see there but the people are really nice. Every time I saw the Aussies on this form they seemed so far away. Not anymore. Back home for the holiday but going back this Friday. Would be awsome to meet up with one of the Aussie Four winns owner. Looks like theres only one from Brisbane. Glad I can see your side of the world. Its F'n awsome cant wait to return! So wish I could take my boat with me...
