I was up at Lake Mohave last weekend. I went to pull my boat out of the water Tuesday morning October 1st and the gates were closed at Kathrine's landing. I was able to go and retrieve my boat from it's slip of course but they were turning away people wanting to gain access. I felt bad for all the people heading east on the 40 towing their boats when I was heading home. Could you imagine having the kids in the back seat, getting up early and heading for what might be your last boating trip of the season only to arrive to a closed lake? Like Chevy Chase arriving at Wally World in the movie Vacation.
