Dang, DW. I'm jealous! I just got mine all put to bed and covered. The consolation is, your Horizon is pretty much identical to mine, colors and everything, so I can look at your pics and pretend.
How is the swim platform working out?

LOL - Good call, Ric!

Pickledboater - The platform is the best mod I've done to the boat!
My exhaust (bellows removed/ replaced with a flap) sounds almost too loud when cruising at 1500 - 1800 RPM; I think the platform acts as a horn of sorts.
It's the 5.7, so it sounds pretty good crusing the rivers at walking pace! 8)

Nice!
I really like the way it looks, especially with the tan color on your boat. We do a lot of what we call "pool parties", just stop and swim. That platform is perfect for that. What did you do for a boarding ladder?
All of you other hemisphere boaters; be safe and enjoy the season!!!!!!!!

Rus: We added a swim platform on our boat a couple of years ago. From Swimplatforms.com Absolutely love it. And last year we added swimming pool handles that come off to make boating even easier. (Now that were getting older. At least the Admiral is)

No ladder just yet, but will likely fit a retractable item under the platform.
Swimplatforms are the go if you want a 'glass platform.
Look around for a used teak platform off a wake boat & have a local timber expert modify it to suit.

Mike,
I remember you telling me about yours when I saw you at the boat show. I would like to drop by and see it sometime this fall if that's ok.
DW,
Good idea looking for one off of a wake boat. I didn't think of that one. I was kinda racking my brain, thinking of how to build one from scratch, but remodeling an existing one seems like the way to go. Maybe one of the flip down ladders used on PWCs would work, the right fit will come along.
Mike,
Either you are braver than I remember, or the admiral doesn't read the forum.

Very nice! I often times think of my friends down yonder this time of year; be safe and enjoy!
Is it just me or does that Stolt Violet look like it's about to cave in on itself?
