Has anyone replaced the impeller in a Kohler generator on a V318? I have paid to have it done a couple times. But thought about saving the bucks and trying it myself. Looking for any tricks.

Plenty of room. I move that side access hatch over and it was very easy to access.

Yea, it really is a piece of cake on those.. Do it once, and then it becomes a 10 minute (or better) change out..

Piece of cake. I carry a spare on board. About 10 minutes once you do it the first time.

I confirmed, its take me 10mins on my 5k Kohler

always have an impeller backup onboard ;)
