Looks like a great idea! I'm skeptical of it's durability. Maybe someone on here has one and can chime in?

I like the idea, but the devil is in the details with something like that. For example, the crank and gears could be very well made but if a gear is held to the crankshaft with just a little roll pin, you could end up with a boat out of control. Maybe the high price is indicative of real quality in this case, but I would be sure it's returnable so you have a chance to check it out thoroughly.

Seems like a good idea but for that price it should park itself!

Or you could get a front hitch for your tow vehicle (if available) for about $150 and move it easily around. I have one for each of my Jeeps and they work great.

I'm with you on this Ric! :D

I have a manual dual jockey wheel set up for moving my camper http://www.manutec.com.au/default.asp?pageid=5&template=PRODUCTCAT&catid=37&catalogue=2&prodid=EM2P but the problem I have is up my driveway the tire actually spins on the hub until the tube pops... still workng on a solution to this. May have to screw the tire to the rim like I used to for drag slicks.

Given the size of your boat, you're probably a pretty good candidate for something like this. Depending on your situation (grade, frequency, etc.), it would probably pay for itself almost immediately.

My boat is relatively light and easy to maneuver, but in another ten years or so I doubt I'll be saying the same thing, so it's nice to know I could get something like this when I no longer have the strength to muscle mine around...

if one fits your tow vehicle, the best way to go.
