100% agree with the electric over hydraulic brakes (have them on current, and last boat). The WD hitch needs, would depend a lot on the trailer too.. My current boat, I don't use one, and it's very comfortable to drive, and pulls straight with minimal bounce, and no sway. The trailer was custom built for the boat, and is balanced pretty well, admittedly, the dually probably helps with the comfort/stability as well, but my 290 I pulled before with the 3/4 was just as comfortable a ride with no additional equipment, other than a nice, well balanced triple axle trailer.. Just from the for what it's worth department...
