HI Steve.
Staying at Cottage Point and taking our boat. Hard to find a place with deep water pontoon at low tide.
Not sure on the exact dates yet but will let you know. Should be able to catch up for a quiet one.
We'll cover as much as possible between Wisemans Ferry and Pitwater.

Cheers
Graham

Can anybody in the Melbourne area (preferably eastern suburbs) recommend trimmer to make up some clears.
Don't want to be stuck 80k's up the Hawkesbury River in October if the weather changes.

Thanks
Graham

Hi Graham,

I recently had a full cover made at Custom Covers in Mornington. Extremely happy with their workmanship.
You could also try BJ's Marine Carrum Downs.

Cheers, Craig

Hi Graham

Try Bundoora upholstry as they do many of the top end ski boat fit outs. Their work is top notch.
http://www.boatupholstery.com.au

I used a smaller guy in Cranburne called Avtek covers. Their work is reasonably priced and good workmanship. PM me if you want his detail as he has done my last 2 projects. His website:
http://www.avtekcovers.com.au

Otherwise cover craft in Bayswater I have heard do some good work but pricy.

Yeah, sure will be Mark. Although the wife has already warned me about buying anything more for my vessel. In her words " [i]I think you have enough shit hanging off it as it is" .
They are funny aren't they???

Cheers, Craig

Thanks Mark and Craig. Will check them out. Only looking for something basic. Will probably never get used.

Cheers

Graham

Went to the boat show today. Thought it was a good show. Plenty of boats and gear. Managed not to spend too much, as the wife decided to come.

Hope all who went enjoyed.

Cheers, Craig

Boat Show.. Was looking at the FW display for quite a while and none of the six salesmen even asked if I needed any help. Obviously they think the boats will sell themselves.

Managed to walk out without spending a $$
If you are after a new fishing or wakeboard boat you are well catered for there.

Today: tow the boat around the block, start her up, clean inside, think about the warm weather in four months.

Cheers

Also spent the day at the boat show. Not too much different to last year but more Four Winns boats and fewer Chapparell boats. Got a good deal on a new Radar slalom ski for my daughter with a new ski bag as well. About the same price I could by it in the states and freight it over so very happy.

Found a great supply for marine grade carpet for when we change ours, and also found the local supplier for Sea-Deck. Plan to cover my swim platform with sea-deck to make it easier on the ski's and knees.

Wallabies won 6-0 over France. Not the most inspiring game...... But we had fun!

Was planning to batten down the hatches untill warmer weather but we now have to test the new ski... So I now need to bring forward the hot transom shower project.
