Well, my worst fears have come true. Spent the evening/night til 4am with the spanish girl I really like. I'm epically friend zoned. I quote "You're one of those one in million people, I don't want to date you and lose you."

last ice storm in February i went to the store JUST to take pictures lol..

I have grown up my entire life in hurricane Charleston SC. its not a big deal to me. i have surfed tropical, cat 1, 2, 3 front edge. Dad was a harbor pilot for years so he never leaves. His maritime license allows him to reenter the city even before the national guard lol. got to keep the ports operational. but we always had everything at the house. Hell between my camping gear, deep freezer, pantry, my wife and I should easy live for a month or so off of what we keep in stock at the house on the regular. Storms do not bother me.

But i love how the news anchors get a big old hard on for a storm and they act like the world is ending, aiding in the mass histeria of the general population. TUFF shit people 100 years ago my family just closed the shutters and drank till the storm was past. The old house is still standing. they had little to no warning. People today would fall flat on their ass without technology, electricity, and the modern conveniences. Most people know little to nothing about how to survive. I strongly support Darwinisom and natural selection but society allows these people to survive by helping them. we could use a good population strengthening (if you know what i mean :wink:

)

Saturday in the ocean for Aquapalooza I picked up some Swimmer's Eruption all over my back, shoulders, chest where I put my wet T-shirt on. Basically I have 1000 little zits all over my body. Out of my 20 years swimming in the ocean it's my first time getting it. Miserable.
