Again, a phenomenal job! So you did wet sand the gelcoat, eh, well maybe there's hope for mine as well! I see you replaced the stripes on the transom, did you get those from FW or have them made? The seats look great! I actually spoke to the tech guys at SEM because I'm going to use their bumper paint to do the bumpers and cladding on my old 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee. That's another classic design I am gradually restoring. I am going to try the wetsanding on a hidden spot on the transom to see how it comes out. I know the guy I bought it from wetsanded it once, it looked great then, but that was over 6 years ago...
Even so I like my old school Horizon enough that I'd have it painted if the gelcoat can't be brought back.

Its been a great 7 seasons. Time to let go. Boat is up for sale, have a serious looker comming tomorrow. I will take my son out fishing in the morning and give a demo ride in the afternoon.
Its been a PROBLEM FREE!! 7 years!! Boat still runs and looks great. 225 hours since I put it in the water.
I would advise anyone putting one these old gems back in the water is to do what I did and get everything serviced upfront.
Some pics I took last week, gonna hurt to see her go!!

Great job! what a beautiful boat. Good luck on your sale. Like the job you did on those seats I have a 2008 that might need to be sprayed like those.
