Anyone have any good ideas of where to mount a GPS/Fish finder combo unit in a 2008 H200?

I'm looking for a solution to this problem, too. I found one guy who had installed it in the dash where the cubby hole is, and I think this would be ideal, but am having a hard time finding a unit that is suitable that is the correct size that is also flush-mountable. Please let me know what you find out in your search, because this is important to me to get it right.

So far, I'm looking at a Garmin GPSMAP 3005C. It's bigger than the hole, but I don't think it's bigger than it can be. I'll need to do a little cutting, though, which bothers me a little.

My other plan if I can't find the perfect plotter, is to simply get a handheld and suction cup mount for the windshield.

Your best bet for easy visibility on that boat is in the corner of the windshield.

I would suggest a slick RAM style mount to work with.

Suction cups on the windshield are not the greatest solution unless you are always going to pull the equipment and lock it up.

The ram mounts appear to be what I am looking for. Look at the mount listed under marine electronics. I am thinking of mounting it off the right side just above the side cushion (May have to trim the cushion - not sure, as I don't get the boat till april or may). The GPS unit can then angle upwards just above the right side of the dash. I do not want to mount it into the cubby, I think having to look down and around the steering wheel to see the GPS would be a pain. I will let you know more when I get the boat. Can't Wait!!!
