the key is to do it either early in the am or late evening when not int he blazing sun. I like to set my EZ-Up up and move it around so i am in the shade.

finalizing some hardware details for the boat..

i am trying to make a decision on which flush mount fuel vent to purchase to match the new SS flush mount filler neck. These will replace the crusty and dry factory poopoo looking white plastic ones. Opinions between the 2 please.

What fuel vent is that? I need to replace the one on my boat, it has the built in/combo fill and vent that quit working if you splash one ounce of petrol in the filler area.

they are much cleaner install than the traditional nub.. I am all about smooth and minimal catch things. just as i used the pricier smooth quick monte on my bimini and it was worth every penny.. Next at some point i will upgrade al of the plastic fittings to the SS, but on till then the plastics are fine being only 2 seasons old.

yup i know. i did not want to spend the extra $145 on joints when i just dropped $500 on the custom bimini and $100 on the flush quick connects. I have been waiting on a sale or ebay deal on the joints.. in due time in due time.. at least they are not 10 year old dry rotten so that is a plus.

Yes i am wanting a bit more clean look. those splash diverter fills are nice though.. also i like and have always preferred and used the hole key flush caps.

Guess the previous owner replaced it with the stainless already on my SS there is no plastic back there. It looks great!

Still waiting for my boat to come home... it is now in pieces at the mechanics and will hopefully be ready for the weekend as we plan to get out on the water...... Finger crossed.... although from the noises he is making it sounds expensive.....
