Will this wheel match right up to our boat. No hub needed? I really like the look and need to know what I need to get to make it work. looks like the allen screws will match right up..?

Probably "yes"; the Italian wheels invariably use the 6 bolt "Momo" set up. An exception in the "Victor" wheels, which use a 5 bolt set up but with the same radius; it's quite easy to redrill such a wheel to fit the Momo bolt spacing, but some filling is required due to overlap. With boat power steering, there's not a lot force involved, so any slight weakness doesn't really matter.

My 1997 Horizon RS had a 'Nardi PCD' Boss Kit.
If you buy a 'MOMO PCD', it won't fit straight.

Nardi PCD has the two top bolt hoses at 11 o'clock and 1 o'clock.
MOMO PCD has a singular top hole at 12 o'clock.

Leather + salt = fail.
My timber wheel has never been too hot to touch or slippery to operate.
I'd hazard a guess that black leather would get hotter than timber?!
