Welcome to winter!
80's here this weekend. I'll be on the ski and boat

Well, back in the UK after about 10 days in Orlando. Jeez, we got absolutely soaked on Monday afternoon in Seaworld ( rain, not the shows !). I had to drain water out of my trainers. Still, the steaks in the USA made it a worthwhile trip, as well as the Harry Potter rides according to our daughter.
Then we got back to the UK; 8 deg. C and the central heating and water heating not working. God it feels cold !
Filled the big recycling bin with very well compressed leaves ( if anyone is looking for a leaf blower, the Hitachi one is superb !)
As an aside, many of the posts on here derogatory regarding less than "perfect" females would be regarded as sexist in the UK, It's surprising that in the US they are allowed; litigation etc (An UK forum, hosted by a boat mag is very careful in case they are prosecuted). Are there so few female Four Winns boat owners in the US ? Does this attitude on the forum discourage them from joining in/ posting ? My ( 22 year old) blonde, pretty daughter with a BSc is a very competent skipper and is also becoming a competent boat mechanic. ( 5'6, very strong swimmer, does well at kick boxing and runs marathons and tough mudders events !). I wouldn't like to cross her really ! She has the same boyfriend for about 5 years, so sorry Ric)
