Our first cruise was a seven day Bahamas trip - it was $250, plane tickets another $500 (from portland, bought last minute, so 2x normal.) It was OK, but then we started traveling to Mexico - We can spend 7 days all inclusive and not have to deal with screaming children, with all alcohol and food included. Makes for a much better Vacation. There is a lot to be said for spending 8+hours at the swim up bar, BS'ing and relaxing.

This holds true for everything. Rental cars, hotel, airfare, cruises, etc.

The cheapest price you'll ever find is going to always be on their official website. For example: Carnival cruise. $139? lol.

Not bad. I have only cruised once as a kid, so we are thinking about doing one sometime.

trying to decide on the edge for the new granite counters in the kitchen. It only took the wife 3 days to decide on the sink..
we still have to decide on the: edge shape, actual granite material, backsplash, does it have a border or not, does it have an accent strip, glass or stone, or a mix, or tiled with stone.

Good thing i am not in a rush lol.

Well, I was ringing in the new year out in Daytona at a suite with some buddies. They invited this girl who I thought was cool. Thought. Well she had a few drinks in her and started spewing out N word this, N word that. Just an absolute vomit of pure racism. I told her to chill out and she's said "I'm from South Carolina that's my heritage it's okay". No, it's not okay. I have some very personal reasons as to why I totally can't stand racism, so I left. Now I'm home and it's 1130. I'd rather ring in the new year by myself than start off a new year drinking with someone that ignorant.

Counting down the days until I out some summer in my winter at the Toronto boat show. They are going to have the new H440 there and the H340. Kind of wondering what to expect, we have a major dealer in ontariomarinebrokers here under bankruptcy who is also the Cruisers, Marquis, and carver dealer. Hopefully the factory steps up and bring the boat because that marina is now under trustee and being sold off. There may be a big hole at the show this year.
Then counting down the days to our family's 10 day fun filled trip to Disney world at the end of the month!

Go with Quarts material for the counters. No sealing required ever, less prone to chipping, more heat resistant. Just my .02
