I'm trying to convince my buddy that got a 2000 Chaparral 240 Signature in trade to trade it for my boat.

Who knows, if it ever does. I'd be okay with a 240 Sig, not my first choice but it works.

Just finished last circuit on barn eletrical, which was outside lighting....and....installed heat shields to finish off the wood burning stove install.

If rain holds tomorrow and not called in to work I will be putting in electrical in old one car garage that's now a workout room.

Went to Bulls vs Celtics game. Bulls win in overtime 109 over 104. Had some nice dinner downtown before the game with friends. Nice evening.

back at the office for the first time in 17 day. that was an enjoyable stretch of holiday..

glad that the storms are gone and that today i can get the shop in order so that this week i can cut the last bulk head and get saw horses set up so that i can get some glass work done. i thought that i would have some work time on the boat over new years but it stormed 24/7 the entire time. we are getting close to me needing to buckle down and get things glassed in!

Working as usual. Broke the trim ring on my ski yesterday on a log. Had to piece it back together somehow (thank you yamaha tool kit!!) and ride home the 10 miles slowly. It's the piece the rear nozzle pivots on (AKA steering pivot). It snapped in half but I was able to put the bolts back on it and the tension from the washers held it in place. It would have been a slow tow home otherwise that's why you never jet ski alone! Just ordered a good used one for $30 shipped. I figured I was in for at least $100 I'm happy about that!

buddy machined a billet ring for his 1300. he jumps the breakers on the regular and on the regular lands on the sand bar and crushes the nozzle resulting in the ring exploding.. billet ring and nozzle along with ride plate and he has not and an issue in almost 2 years now. this summer hoping to break 90. currently he is 86 on gps after a full ground up build.. Is having a full carbon tuned equal length exhaust made for it and hopes that will shave a few pounds and add a few ponies..

HE IS AN ENGINEER and makes 90% of the parts at work.

shopping on ebay
and planning out the evening work on the boat.. goal is 8 man hours of work by sat am. and on sat am get a good 8-10 man hours this weekend.

I'd be happy to have my 1300 touch 75. Should be easy, just mill head/ecu tuner/ignition keyway.

Ah totally remembered today is my 1 year divorce anniversary. I'm going to party tonight!!

he still is in the tuning stages. the high end fuel feed is the bottle neck at the moment she starves for fuel.. the past couple months have been building this ski on the side. he built it to hold the high RPM and speed for reliability.. but finding good weather at the same time as he is off work has been the issue for tuning.. you can only tune a ski so much in the driveway.. he should be in the 90s come memorial weekend..

getting my new computer at the office all set up and software installed.. NEW 27" 5K Retina iMac that is tricked out. my desk is 5 feet wide and my setup spans the entire width now hahaha. i am a happy employee today with my new toy..

This is what I'm working with. One mismatched monitor I know, I can steal one from an empty desk in the office just haven't gotten around to it.

Intel Core i5-3570k, 16gb ram, 120gb ssd, Nvidia GTX 560 for two main screens and 9500GT for 3rd monitor. Needs a little upgrading here and there but it never skips a beat.
