Portland Boat Show today. I'll take pictures of anything too neat for words.

Pretty pissed I spent $18 for that. It is labelled a BOAT show - but it should have been labeled a FISHING BOAT show. FW dealer only had a 2013 220. Here I was expecting to at least see a 2015 model or two, but nothing.

Saw the quadski. Cool toy if you have the money. A few other cool toys for off the water, some other sport boats - but would have considered it worth the money had they had any other boats worth looking at.

Won a $12 headlamp, so I guess all in all it wasn't too bad.

Last complaint - no boat babes. However - it being Portland they would have either been Birkenstock wearing, not shaving their legs hippies or Methed out trailer trash. Some of you fellow states need to export. :lol:

I could send you some of our fine Canadian women. But typically the mood has been lost by the time you talk them out of their snow suits. Might be better off to wait for summer.

I agree with the didn't come out right statement. Even as a joke that posted on www could turn ugly in any allegations made by a patient.

Back to the spirit of the post...weather was ugly here all day, so hit harbor freight and picked up a grinder, bench grinder wire wheel and some grinding and cutting wheels. Needed items so I can prep some steel for new mig welder.

Winter project list once I learn and practice include a grinding stand, welding table, trailer ramps, swivel rack for my 1,000 lb BBQ pit...once brave enough I want a ladder and storage box mounted to the boat trailer.

today is draw out the full scale plans for the rear bench seat and engine sun pad templates to be ran on the plotter at the office.

Had a pretty productive weekend. Installed my Christmas gift to the wife a new Bluetooth stereo in her Journey, then went to help my buddy gut his 1972 Mr. Eds Custom Jet boat.

First time I have ever done anything like this, it was a good learning experience.
