I was there on Saturday, there looks to be a new dealer already in place to take over for Crates Keswickhttp://www.executiveyachtcanada.com they are the new Carver and Marquis yacht dealer. Also in the shake up Pride Marine groups looks to be the new management company for the lagoon city marina.
The show it self was pretty good, for those who haven't gone and are going. You need to make an appointment once at the show to view. The Sea Ray 470,510&510 fly.
Four Winns had a great selection at the the show including the H440 which was awesome to go on, but it is really only a 2 person overnight boat. Hands down for me I liked the Sea Ray 510

I am not going to the show but managed to secure show pricing on my new Lowrance Hds 7 Touch with Structure Scan. The way I see it is I managed to get the unit I wanted within my set budget, with a few free upgrades.

My wife and I attended the Toronto Boat Show this past Saturday and spent the night at the Sheraton Hotel. For those that are considering going to the Toronto show the Sheraton and Westin Harbour Castle are the two host hotels for the Toronto Show and both hotels have discounted rates for the show. The hotels have no charge shuttles that pick you up at their front doors and drop you off at the front doors of the Toronto Boat Show. The shuttles run continuously and take you back to your hotel as well.

We wanted to view the Meridian sedan bridge boats but Meridian was not part of the show this year, the larger SeaRays mentioned in post above took Meridian's spot (the spot Meridian was in last year).

The Toronto Show has considerable footage designated to boating accessories. You could spend half a day just shopping the accessories should you have a shopping list.

Oh, I should mention that the new 2015 Four Winns 338 that was available for boarding and viewing had a "Toronto Boat Show Special" price of $249,799 (was $259,999). The interesting thing is the 338 is listed as 33'0" in length with a 10'9" beam, our older 328 Four Winns is 35'1" in length with a 11'9" beam. That 1 foot difference in beam would be quite noticeable with most boaters.

...the upside to the old numbering scheme is that it is easier to have your 328 pass for 32' at the locks or ports where you pay by the foot... The new versions are stuck with their length in bold print for all to see!

I am off to the show tomorrow to pick up a few items - want to try Big Orange filter this year and replenish some cleaners and boat toys. I will leave my cheque book at home!

Sounds like that was the V335, which is the same as my V318 just updated to the new numbers scheme. It's more comparable to the 298, but a big bigger and newer styling. The V355 is similar to your boat, but the newer style.

Thanks firecadet613 you are correct I was referring to the new 2015 Four Winns 335 in my post above. Funny how the picture (monitor showing boat details) I took from the Toronto Boat Show of the Vista 335's price and dimensions on my phone still had the model number correct.

Visited the show today. Arrived early and was finished by 4pm. The day was cold and sunny, and there were no crowds at all. Never waited more than a minute to get on any boat - there was a 3 person lineup for the Searay 57 Fly, so I skipped it. For anyone serious about a boat purchase, today was the day to get personalized attention.

The Cruisers 41 Cantius was very impressive, with a million dollar price to match. The Four Winns H440 was...well...different. Far beyond my financial comfort zone, it would be hard to see it as a primary boat, even if I could afford it. For the very rich, it would make a super second boat for day parties with family or friends.

Overall, a pleasant day and I got all my toys and Big Orange.

Went yesterday, very crowded, especially the Searay big boats, and Beneteau displays (the Oceanis 51 is a thing of beauty). Anyways, took a ton of pics. I'll try to label them all, so you know what your looking at. Some are a little fuzzy (cell phone camera).

This pic shows the nuts/bolts on the bottom of the transom plate that I had such a insane hard time getting to. You can see why, they are directly behind the exhaust.


I explained my trouble to the rep at the booth. I pointed out that that design is horrible, he just looked at me with big blank eyes that said "I've never picked up a wrench in my life".

As others said, the vendor area was huuuuge, picked up some sailing gear for my other passion. All in all, was a good show, and we spent the rest of our time, just day tripping around Toronto, finishing off with dinner at the Royal Canadian Yacht Club, courtesy of the Commodore. Was a great day/night and will def attend again next year!

We might have crossed paths at the show Niagara.... we were there on Saturday as well.

We are starting to look at transitioning away from day boating to overnighting, so we were checking out what was available for cuddies in the low 20ft range. The S215 was not a contender.... the cuddy is just so short in height. Quite honestly, as far as cuddies go, we found the Bayliner 642 to be the most spacious boat in that category at the show. My wife felt most comfortable in that cuddy as well... it seemed much lighter and brighter that anything else we saw. The cabin is tall enough for me to sit upright in, with room to spare.

All in all a good show and a good day forgetting about winter!

We probably did! Should have coordinated with other Canadian FW's owners, maybe coulda done a meet up, but it was kinda last minute for us. Anyways, I agree with ya on the cuddy dimensions. One thing I found annoying on both SD's they had (265 & 215) was the short companionway. There is no way a normal size person can enter the cuddy forwards. I had to turn around and back in or else hit my head on the roll up cuddy door. What did ya think of the new H350 and 440?
