Yeah I raised hell with corporate and it worked. They're replacing everything that tech messed up (both A-pillar covers, headliner, rubber moldings, windshield) with parts from the local BMW dealership and redoing it Tuesday. Luckily I have the ability to work from home.

Minus the windshield it's about $1100 in parts this guy screwed up.

If there is much more than cosmetic damage - If they pried or bent the A pillar - A lot of insurance companies write any damage to the A pillar as a total loss. A branch fell on my neighbor's car this winter and dinged the drivers side A pillar and crumpled the hood - Farmers Insurance totalled it. If one of those pillars fails in an accident... It won't be pretty.

Trust me that's a big fear of mine. I'll be visually inspecting when they remove the windshield Tuesday and if it looks dented or pried on it will be time to get my lawyer involved.

Just finished loading up the 4 place snowmobile trailer so we can head up to the U.P. ( Upper Peninsula Michigan) Other wise known as snowmobile paradise. Just picked up a brand new Yamaha sled & can't wait to get some miles on. If you think wave runners are a blast you haven't tried sleds.

I lived in Maine, we sled 6 months out of the year!

It's cold and no bikinis are involved.

Where in the UP are you going?

I have yet to get into sleds....it seems I'm more busy in the winter than the summer and that is saying something since I own a marina/resort....maybe I should add sleds to the list of things we deal with and be even more busy...

Anyways, enjoy your time in the UP. It's great up here. It's been a cold week with a most mornings with lows in the negative teens and twenties.

I have always maintained that's why, even in Minnesota, jet skis tend to out sell snow machines. Its the clothes..........  8)

I tried to original name the boat "Clothing Optional" and the wife shot it down.

Y'all always visit Florida during cold fronts. It's going to be miserably cold later this week. Highs in the 50/60's.

Guess I need to get my boat detailed, people seem to bitch about a boat not being 100% glossy even though I'm asking 3k below market average (Asking 15k cause I just don't care). Some dude yesterday was complaining how it didn't shine like brand new and his wife didn't want it because of that. I told him okay, let's walk up to the marina's office together. I'll pay them $400 to have the hull buffed right now and it will look like a brand new boat, and since I just paid for the month of February you get to keep it here til the end of the month, and the selling price goes up 2k. Your choice.

He started saying something about writing a check for the difference and I walked to my car and drove off. This is my first time selling a boat privately, I've always gone through brokers. My marina puts boats on consignment for $400 which includes a full detail. If I don't get anything decent this week I'll do that.
