There will be Oversize permits and routing anyway for that boat. Mine on my trailer, is just below 14' high, and I haul it around whenever I want too
. I'd say, if your local guy can handle getting the permitting, and the routing done (or has someone who can), and is equipped to haul the boat, I'd go with him as long as you feel good with it..
