There are quite a few people on here that replaced theirs - I would search for what they did here on the board. I am considering it as well.

The ebay wheel looks too dark - might want to check the return policy if that's the way you go.

kinda digging the all SS with knob look. no worries about mildew, no matching material, no stitches to pop.

Ensure it's vinyl (ideally UV stable), for longevity.

I don't know is a wheel like what is on the new Sundowner and a few other models would look right.

That stainless one looks cool, but how will it look with lake-goo all over it, and how will it feel when it has been sitting in the sun and/or is wet and slippery?

If there's a heaven on earth, it's Miami. I'e been to LA, NYC, Boston, ATL, DC, and everywhere in between. Nothing compares.

How easy is it to replace the steering wheel?

I have a 99 Horizon 220 and the steering wheel is mildew and ugly. I'd love to replace it but am not the most DIY person.

Are there extra parts one needs to buy or do you literally just buy a boat steering wheel?

Miami's culture is like no other. You either really love it, or really hate it. It's very upbeat and upscale. If you're a conservative person that doesn't care for the latest fashion, fancy food, and posh bars and clubs... it's not for you.

I've been to Vegas countless times, just went 2-3 months ago. It's aiight. Something to do and cheap.

take the center cap/cover off. i think it is a 7/8 nut.
loosen that nut.
spray PB Blaster or liquid wrench on the bolt. Let that set about 15-20 and work its magic.
Thread the nut on a few turns, put a block f wood on the shaft to protect it and give a nice firm wack with a hammer to jar any contact loose and the wheel should pull free.
If not then use a wheel puller. it is like most 3 point pullers with claws. use wrench on the puller and the wheel will pop off..

You either have splines or a sheer Key style shaft. and will need to order the correct hub style for your steering shaft.

thanks.. now i have to decide what wheel i want. and a list of things to order. SO excited to have her all redone and int he water.

Excited about the Miami boat show tomorrow. Ordered an Attwood LED front navigational light for the Chap the original light was getting corroded. I'm making sure this stupid boat is FLAWLESS so people can't bitch when I show it.
