Freaking hate this ice storm. Every hour I have to go out a broom off the accumulation off of my boat cover. This is some bull shit I tell yA. Solid inch of ice on my truck. I'm not going any where until my neighbor plows the road with his tractor.

Hahaha...nice! I have NO desire to re-locate to Florida though...give me 4 solid seasons any day please (maybe a few less of the -30C days though). I'll make the routine winter Florida trips later in life.

yea man we got 1.25" ice last night after an inch of sleet..

150 yards long of 4-6" diameter bamboo at the front of my neighborhood all down. GOOD thing i drive a big truck with 4wd and aggressive tires.

i went out every hour and a half to broom the sleet off the bat cover last night so it would not get destroyed.

at the beginning of the sleet last night around 330

That's crazy!!!

Ordered a Fulton swing away bolt on tongue kit for my jet ski trailer. With that installed I can store it in a much better position on my property.

That's worse than what we got. 4" more inches of snow and 18*F.
The harbor behind our house is frozen all the way to Long Island Sound, that's about 2.5 miles! This has not happened in about 20 years or so.

We had a similar storm back in 2006. Two feet of snow over 2 days, then 3 days of ice. I was stuck at work for 9 days on emergency hold over. Took 2 weeks for the power crews to get power back on to everyone. Not fun. Back then I was driving our commuter car - a Kia Rio. If you are not aware - "Kia Rio" in Korean is a loose term for "Car will crumple around you and kill you in a wreck, or will have the transmission fail at 70 MPH on the freeway."

Funny what you get used to.

In my part of the world we have had many mornings in the negative teens/twenties over the past couple of weeks. When it gets up to 10F in the late afternoon you actually start to think that is warm. I was doing some things outside last night and didn't even have gloves on. I didn't know how cold it was. When I looked it was 3.

Damnnnn that's cold....makes my nipples hurt just thinking about it. It's in the 40s here at night and I'm freezing. Last week it was in mid 70s. We don't do cold well around here and close down if streets are wet and it drops below 32. People around here can't drive in freezing cold and many drive into flooded areas like moths into a flame. Guess there are stupid people everywhere cuz we don't let darwin theory work.

HOLY CRAP IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE 28 DEGREES TOMORROW NIGHT!!

First time in at least 4 years it's dipped below freezing here in Orlando.
