How do I get the recessed trim off of the ceiling fixtures on my 2004 Four Winns? The boat is new to me & the lights don't turn on even though the switch red light is on. Thanks, Marianne

Have you used a meter to see if your getting voltage to the fixtures? If no, than try the switch. You might have a loose wire.

Thank you for the suggestion. There is power both to & from the switch. I just need to know how to take off the tight-fitting cover of the fixture so I can change the bulbs.

It looks close to yours. Mine is a 2004 Vista.

If your talking about the little ones in the cabin. Just give the trim ring a little twist and the should come apart. Just changed all my bulbs to led.

Thanks. I'm heading down there tomorrow & will persevere till I get them off. I, too, am going to put in LED bulbs. I hope it is a nice day so we can take the boat out.

This link shows a common light from the 2003 -06 era that you seem to be describing along with some successful LED updates. You will never regret it and save draining the batteries!

Thank you Believe it or not, but I actually own a lighting store & have access to the LED bulbs. I'm just can't believe I couldn't get the trim off the light fixture. Our store is in Rancho Cordova, Ca.
