I seem to be having a hard time finding the correct spark plug wires for my 1996 5.0 . Has anyone else experience this? If so what was your solution. We tried to cross reference with Sierra but they were the wrong wires. Any help with this will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I recommend going to Summit Racing or Jegs and purchase a set of good wires (Taylor, MSD, etc.) for a small block Chevy.
They will work fine and last the life of the boat.
Cost about $30.00 or so.

Plug wires are plug wires there's no such thing as "marine" plug wires. Find out what ends you require (dizzy side and plug side) and order a set. Some automotive wires are shorter to run over the valve covers so make sure you order a set of "under header" plug wires so they fit the length requirements of a boat engine. A GOOD set will cost you about $40 shipped.

Had a good experience a couple years ago with Michigan Motorz (http://www.michiganmotorz.com/). I actually ordered a stock set, but they did not fit my existing looms (too thick). Instead of replacing the looms, I called them up and exchanged for a custom set that was actually cheaper. If you have any questions I would suggest giving them a call and detailing what you need, they were a great help to me.
