New best. Adjusted the ride plate a little higher. Should be doing 70-71 by the weekend once I get my plastic shim stock in the mail to adjust the trim tabs.

Yeah I know it's crazy. I'm pretty sure it will settle out around 70-71mph when done. That's crazy considering I've done no engine performance modifications except delete the cat. converter. That's right around 10mph gain over showroom stock.

Sore throat, runny nose, and general feeling of crap. Came out of nowhere last night.

I need to goto the boat tonight and get my personal effects out. Deal is final on Saturday. Still can't believe i'm actually selling it, butfuckit. I can dream about a 248 or I can do something about it....

At the worst time of the year to sell a boat.

this is the best time and maybe the next month as people have the summer itch and are willing to pay up.. Winter is the best time to buy as you have buying power.. summer has selling power..

trying to source a decent price on Nida-Core or DIvinacell foam for the engine hatch. i have decided that the hatch made of ply will be too freaking heavy and add weight that i do not want in the ass end. I am contimplating building the bench seat complete out of glass also not as it is BEEFY with out glass on it and i feel that if glassed in and out POOF it will be stupid heavy.

Cleaned out the boat today and getting it ready for it's sale Saturday.

Sad.

I just know it's for the best though, I'm tired of posting about wanting something bigger. This is the first step towards that dream.

I've just not decided if I should use the boat sale money to pay my BMW off or not. Debt free would be nice and all that money I'm saving from no boat, slip fees, gas fees, car payment, etc adds up to around $1000 a month. That would mean I'd be putting $2500 a month in my savings account, I could get a really nice 248 Vista by winter.

Pay off the car and start the savings. That way, if a 248 pops up before winter, you will at least have a nice chunk for a down payment. And with the money your putting away without the car payment, you can double up the boat payments and have it paid off before winter.

That is awesome!! We pick the boat up today and hope to have everything cleaned up and ready for next weekend. Worst case would be the 18th I am thinking.
