I imagine there are advancements with LED lighting almost as fast as electronics? Anyways, after I replaced our cabin's G4 bulbs to LEDs, I would like to replace the bulbs in my radar arch to color changing LEDs.

Would anyone have any current recommendations as to what they would use? My wife likes the idea of being able to toggle between white, blue and red lighting. Is it just a bulb replacement, or is it a fixture/bulb replacement?

Sounds like you're looking for something similar to what I installed. You have to install a new housing but they offer retrofit kits if you already have arch lites. http://www.smwebhead.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=11683&hilit=arch+lights
Ive been really happy with them but a word of warning is they are bright...sometimes wish I would have gotten the 2 color dimable like Flyer51

Check this bulb out on eBay, item no. ( 221618792072 ). I used these on my 318 arch, I had to unscrew the lens off the bulb and just a minor modification to the fixture.

Bliss36 and bobre thanks for the reply. Bliss would you happen to have a link for the LEDs you and Flyer may of used? bobre those LED bulbs you reference with that ebay item number are really cool. If those bulbs would simply be a replacement bulb for my existing factory installed radar arch lights and they come with a wireless remote to change LED light color then those would probably be a great replacement for me.

That is what I was curious about with technology advancements in LED lightning. Maybe someone else has found a similar LED product that they are happy with?
