shopping for some tires and new steel rims for the boat.. i think i found some 225/75-15 on steel 6 lug D load rating $220 shipped.. as my rims are showing rust also i would like to have spares. And a spare steel is $40 alone it makes since to just buy already mounted and balanced and save the mount balance fee.

Did some further carb tuning & cracked 54 MPH today with 1/2 tank and my 200lb buddy.

They are all done, for some reason the finished pic wont post, the forum is rejecting its size...I dont know. The previous owner let the anodes go too long, and resulted it some minor corrosion, drives hadnt been painted in a few years.

Acid washed everything, and Used all OEM Mercuriser primer and paint. DAed all corrosion I could reach, sanded all surfaces with 150, scotchbrited all surfaces, and primed the heck out of them. Last finished with the Paint. In the end, they came out ok in my opinion, my wife and brother seem to think they look amazing compared to how they were. For me they will never be good enough. Either way the drives simply will not look brand new for a 15 year old boat without a full sandblast.

On to the tie bars, skeg guard (to repair broken tip), drive showers, and re-pop mercuriser logos.

i deal with this constantly. it is because the pile height of your picture is greater than 750 high. just resize on your hosting site to 699 and you are safe..

this site does not like tall pictures for some reason.. i have to do this to every vertical picture i post..

Size restriction is 1024 wide x 768 high, (but not vise versa)
