Yep I'm going to try and stay single for a while and save $$. As much as I like this 1999 Chaparral 240 Signature, the styling is just way too out of date for my personal tastes.

I wish I could afford a 258 Vista for the outside sink and Mediterranean SunSport rear seating as it's a better designed layout for mostly day use (like what I do), but for some weird reason even though the 258 is technically SMALLER than the 248, it sells for nearly 20k more due to the stupid nicer layout that I just happen to like a lot.

Finally got my 21 day fix exercise kit in. It kicked my butt this morning I feel like I got ran over. I could stand to lose 15lb and tighten up (6'2 198lb). I eat very healthy that has never been an issue but being a computer programmer I live a very sedentary lifestyle (aka flabby). This program should do it, I feel more burn in a 30 minute workout then I've ever felt at the gym tossing weight around.

After all, I'm single and shirt off season is starting, gotta look good!

I dragged the old ship home for some short term TLC, sort out a drive clonk which I think & hope is just alignment, pressure test the leg, re-seal the hatch & a bit of polishing. Also will be fitting some UK spec brakes to the trailer as currently its on the original US ones.

All in time for the Goodwood Festival of speed in a few weeks where I'm taking the old barge down to the Marina for some evening runs out after "work" driving the new MX-5/Miata up the hillclimb

Chilling trying to pas the time to Thursday for a 5 day weekend at my parents place on Edisto. 800 yards of water front on deep water a mile boat ride to the beach. and view of the sun set every night from under the hundred year old oak trees that shade the property. I need to move back home and retreat to the country island every weekend like they do.

Installed New replica Mercruiser Stickers (OEM ones are PRICEY), magnesium anodes, Stainless Skeg Guards, IMCO Stainless Tie Bar, & Simrek Drive Showers...

The drives look great!

I just scored an awesome deal on a Bravo 3 prop pair. Brand new in the box. They were old stock in the back of local marina parts department and likely collecting dust for over a decade. They wanted them gone. $100

now that is a good score, holy crap! I wished my props would clean up a bit nicer, but hell i gotta remember all this work will be underwater 80% of the time we use the damn boat.

No drive shower yet but it is on the list. My cousin said he would be coming by after work to start refinishing the drive. A skeg guard arrived yesterday so that will help in the looks department. I still have 4 of 6 speakers to install. GPS to be installed. Some misc interior bulbs and one docking light bulb that need to be replaced. Bimini should be here Friday. After installing the Bimini, I will need a canvas person to alter the boat cover. If needed, the Bimini can wait to be installed but I want to back at the marina this weekend.
