just went to Lowes on lunch break to pick up some ply for the sundae hatch and the underside bracing structure.. saved me 25 or so minutes after work that i can use to work..

ordered a flush Stainless Fuel filler with flip up keyless cap this morning.. need t triple check my clearances for the flush mount SS vent while i am up under the transom and swim platform mounting the new SUnpad hinges on Tuesday or Wednesday..

Mounted my GPS on my new to me 2003 Freedom 170. Also wired a dual 12V outlet to power the GPS. just got back North in Cincinnati from SWFL (Cape Coral). Just upgraded from a 13' Whaler a few weeks before I left. Looking forward to getting the new boat out this summer. Haven't had it in the water yet since I've been home. Hopefully Friday this week. The new boat handles the chop better and seats 4-6 people comfortably. Doug

Tired got 4 hours of sleep. That asian I dated 2 years ago has a best friend and me and her always had an eye for each other. Well, said best friend hit me up on facebook last night cause she broke up with her BF and invited me out for some drinks. We never spoke but 50 words in the last 2 years until last night. Well, one thing led to another... andd.... high fives for everyone today. White girl on the left.

Got home from work, ate a light dinner, did my 30min workout and now I'm dead. I'm too lazy to even get out of bed to grab a beer.

Looks like our camping trip is going to be canceled because the weather looks too crummy for Sunday and Monday. Looks like I might get some boating in instead on Saturday.

My cousin who does auto body repair was at my house last night working on refinishing my outdrive. It is already looking better than it did. When he arrived last night after work he told me about how he had to add brake fluid to his Jeep earlier that day. Before he left, I looked under and saw a puddle of brake fluid under the rear of his Cherokee. His rear line sprung a sizable leak and the brake reservoir was empty. After a few hours of failing at some temporary fixes I drove him home late last night.

Today, after fighting some rusty fittings, bending the new line and bleeding the brakes, he was good to go with a job done right.

He will be back tonight to finish getting the outdrive ready for paint tomorrow.

Trying to think of what to cook out on the boat Sunday. Have a grill and a 1 burner stove the possibilities are endless but I'm thinking I want something with seafood involved.
