Still have snow cover and 10-12" of ice. Snow was gone until we got 13" a week ago...not cool!

On a positive note, my launch pass has been ordered and should arrive any day. Free launches for 1 year :mrgreen: (with a one time $75 fee), but I just reduced my boating expenses leaving more money for gas...

Hey Robbo3, what did you get a launch pass to?

The Snow must go!!!

Hey Planealternitive Love the photo
At risk of sounding smug Adelaide weather a light dusting of snow on Mt Lofty MAYBE ! once a year on a really cold day! !.Summer is winding down and have been experiencing 70 degree F days .Water in the River Murray temperature still makes wearing a wet suit optional. But hey ,thats life here in South Oz

Ps If I want to go snow skiing It is 12 hours drive away and lift tickets are around 100 dollars Australian so there are draw backs,but the public boat ramp I use is free!

Bob- Nice marina. We travel to Mystic 2-3 times a season usually stay at the Seaport or Brewers.

Thanks;
Both of those marinas are very nice marina's; Mason Island has a great location, easy access to the ocean and to the sound but it's more like your traditional marina. Last year we docked in Clinton, at the River Basin Marina. That was a great spot but we found ourselves spending most of our time heading to RI waters. That is where many of our boating friends are. We love Block Island but last year we fell in love with Greenport L.I.

Maybe our course’s will cross paths his summer. Where in Portland are you? I’d love to see the work you have done to your boat. If I remember correctly you are in the process of adding an A/C unit. You may contact me trough the personal message side of the board if you would like.

Ardy: Thanks for the compliment.
As for your 70 degree temps... we should be so lucky.
As long as the ice is out, I'll go out in any temps.

GF's brother has a lakefront house on PK with a boat ramp. That lake is ranked in the top 10 nicest lakes in the US.

The wife and I have reservation at the Cliffs resort on PK in May. They have 5 or 6 wet slips on a first come first serve basis. I'm excited, it's been a few years since we've been out there and never on our own boat. Sweet lake for crusing with the ever changing scenery. Sort of like Travis on a smaller scale or Table Rock an a microscopic scale.
