Hello I am looking at a 2005 348 vista later in the week it has flat batteries and the owner doesn't know how to open the engine hatch without power they won't even take a trigger charge.
Can someone that knows how to release the pin to open hatch it would be appreciated.
Thanks

I don't have that model but mine has a little latch you can manually lift the hatch. Its heavy but the electric piston on mine "free wheels" to open and close if it is fully retracted.
If its way to heavy. Try plugging the on board charger in. It may give you enough juice to open it.

You should be able to manually open hatch. This takes two people. It is very heavy. Be prepared to brace the hatch open with sturdy supports. Be very careful. Good Luck.

I am unaware of how to open the hatch without power.
I am selling my 348, if I knew I had someone coming to see boat, I would make sure batteries are charged.
I take a portable generator to the boat and charge the batteries.
If you are interested here is my 348.

Sorry I could not have been of more help. New batteries here and turn key ready 348.
