Its a darker color and different texture. Mine has a couple stains on it, seems a bit washed out in color and is pretty matted as well. The stock carpet was that light beige berber style. The stuff they are putting in the '08's and I think even the '07's is a few shades darker. It will match the darker vinly trim in my interior. Sort of light chocolate? Plus, its not the berber. Can't really describe it other than it looks more "Cobalt like". Anyone have any good pics? Plus, it now comes in 2 pieces.

Well big year for me. New boat lift, added cold cathodes to my existing red leds and most important they are builing my extended swimplatform next week. Doing it in Four Winns Regal Red with a white air port and black edge trim. But most important 180 red leds under the platform.

That would be the big selling point AFAIC. That 1-piece thing is a PITA if you ever take it out. Do you know if it requires any changes in snap locations? Cost?

TXJole2 -- how much more room will that give you on your platform? Sounds like it'll be a nice addition!

Cincy --- You'll love the '08 carpet! What did you end up going with for the stereo components?

Mike- Tell me about it. I hated that one piece deal especially after washing it and trying to lay it over my house deck railing to drain and dry. It won't require a change in snap locations because, like the canvas pieces, the snaps are installed on the carpet custom to each boat by the dealer. However, it will require 4 new floor snaps I believe to secure where the two pieces will meet by the front of ski locker. So, I'll be getting a nice snap installing thingy to do the job. The dealer was going to charge me an hour or so of labor. Got any leads on where to get a good one? I had a cheapy that the handles bent.

Cost- I was dealer quoted at: cockpit carpet would be $453.90 and the bow carpet would be $55.93. BUT, FW gave me a nice discount because of the hassle with my camper enclosure/bimini, which btw, is now perfect! Props to FW for making it right.

Cougar - Can't wait for it to arrive. I'll start a new thread on the stereo.

26" at water level like a wakeboard boat.

No leads from me on snap tools, since I haven't had to install any. But whoever installs the new ones in the floor, make sure they're sealed well.

This is what I need. http://www.greatlakesboattop.com/installation

I'm assuming it will take a small pilot hole to be drilled then filled with clear or white sealant.. What type would you recommend. What did you use on your windshield screws? I need to tighten those up as well.

I just used clear silicone on the windshield screws, since they rarely get any water on them and I only did it to keep them from backing out - not to seal them per se. If it were me I'd use 4200 on the snap holes.

Boat Buckle progress is slow, but picking up speed. I think I've finally settled on how to attach them.

New speakers, amp, and subwoofer- scrapped until winter 2008/2009
Replace bimini boot due to hole found 2 weeks after delivery- received new boot yesterday under warranty

Question about the boot- the one I had with the hole in it had a single zipper. The replacement has 3- 1 on each end and one in the center. Anyone else have this setup? Anyone know why it was changed? I'm guessing it was a design change to help the corners stay zipped when the bimini is booted up? Anyone dealt with both and have a preference? My initial reaction to it was that it was going to be much more difficult to use. Hope experience tells me differently.

Paul, my boot has 3 zippers. It's to accommodate the diagonal corner braces.
