IT also. My official corporate title is: SYSTEMS SERVICES SUPPORT ANALYST. We manage, repair and monitor all the equipment (routers, switches, firewalls) for a large financial firm. Like the other that work in IT know, we're the ones that get blamed for everything that doesn't work right, (servers, pc's, applications, etc).

Great thread and 230Mike, good point! Although he could send the hair to India after he cuts it. There has to be a demand for hair in India (I don't know why-but there just has to be).

Anyone ever hear that old saying, "If you're playing poker, and you can't figure out which guy at the table is the sucker, then YOU are the sucker"? Well, in this case there are no other scumbags here thus far-so I'll take the bullet for the team. I'm the scumbag. That's right, I'm a lawyer.

In my defense, I am not an ambulance chaser, I don't do criminal defense, and I don't represent insurance companies in their attempts to avoid paying claims (although that WAS my first job out of school). Instead, I represent employee benefit funds to ensure that blue collar workers receive medical coverage for themselves and their families as well as their pension benefits when they retire.

Needless to say, I don't lose any sleep at night. So this makes me LESS of a scumbag, right? Right? A little help here???!

Nothing against lawyers... some of my closest friends are lawyers... really!
Actually I'm quite surprised at how many 'tech' types are here.
Sometimes I wish I'd gone that route. Don't get me wrong.. I love my job but it's certainly not as steady as some of you guys.
