Deck boats were very popular this year.
Four Winns had a HD200 there. The amount of seating up front was pretty impressive compared to my H200, but I can't stand the look of them.
I made it a point to check out the bilges, ski lockers, stringers, etc. of most boats to gauge quality. A Chaparral had exposed fiberglass weave and PLYWOOD in their ski locker! I was shocked, it looked like it was all done by hand and the technician just gave up at the last minute. Unreal in an $ 80,000 boat.
Obviously 90% of the stuff there was outboard powered.
Most impressive was a center console Bayliner for ~ 20 grand with a Mercury 4-stroke on the back. Never knew they even made those things.
All in all a good way to pass the time in the winter months. I got there right as they opened and scored some freebies from the vendors. Thank you NYSDEC for the floating keychain.
