Ok, so this happened when I tried to throw the boat in reverse and it hasn't been the same ever since...
The throttle lever has come out of place and wont stick back in...when it comes out it moves towards you (sitting in the captains seat) and then it loses all grip...it can be pushed back in and it holds, but it comes back out very easily...
is there any way to get the throttle to stick back in place?

Is there an access cover at the pivot point? Possible loose screw not holding it tight to the mechanism.
What boat is it?
