ok so I'm going ot be adding 600-700lbs of ballast to the boat. Im runing a 3.0 volvo. its a 2007. I need a bigger prop. stock is 14.3 x 21 3 blade. thinking about running a 14.5x19 3 blade or 4 blade. I want the hole shot as I never really run the boat over 30 mph. And want to be able to plane and have the hole shot for wakeboarding. What do you think about this combo ? And where is a good place to get props as it seems to be hard to find but I think volvo actually makes the 3 blade in this combo. I'm not really interested in stainless looking aluminum. Too much damage with the stainless.

Go for a Volvo 4 blade 14.25" x 19. I tried this prop once (still got it in my garage) gets out of the hole real fast, but washes off about 12mph at the top ened (dropped my top speed to 38 mph insteaqd of 50). My preference would be to use a real Volvo prop as the general concensus is that they work best and only a small incremental cost of an after market one.
