Over this past weekend three times I had people in little boats cut in front of me, two of them were towing tubers, and both of those occured while I was following a 320 Sundancer from one side of the lake to the other. I was a good 2000 feet back from him, and both times they cut right behind him, jumping his wake, and went slow enough that had I not seen them they wouldn't have any tubes left. We were going about 35mph.

I don't understand people. I do have to applaud one of the fools though. They were towing two tubers back into the ramp area, and I heard him yell to his son to stay still and not move around, or he would fall out and the big boat behind them (me) would run him over.

Wow. And thus the legacy is passed unto the next generation . . . . OK to pull your kid in front of a boat at speed on a tube - as long as he doesn't move or he could go under it!
I'm beginning to think people really don't like thier kids anymore. If I saw these things going on with spouses on tubes / skis etc. I think it would be a little easier to understand.

Though it was a few years ago, shortly after I learned to water ski, a boat cut between me and the boat pulling me on a crowded area lake (Blue Springs). After throwing the rope up in the air so I wouldn't decapitate any one in that boat, the driver looked at me with a scowl like it was somehow my fault.

Seems to me at least one in that boat deserved decapitation. :x

I would've gone to jail for what I (not to mention my other boating buddies) would have done to the driver of the other boat. That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of.

Well I can add the normal stupidity as well. The wakeboard boat last weekend who decided to start towing a boarder withing 60 yards of 18 boats all anchored in a cove and tied together. The proceeds to do circles around the coved boats like it was fun to show off. Nevermind the couple million in boats all tied up together with captains running to hold bueys in place.

Lets see, the very attractive and shortly nude 38 year old mother of two. Which I usually applaud this behavior it just didn't seem right when her 15 year old son and 14 year old daughter watched on. Of course the daughter spent the day sneaking into "friends" nearby cruisers to drink all day long before hurting herself jumping from boat to boat. Again, all for the nudity but in front of kids...........comeon.

A first for me would be the 20 somethings pushing contest which lead the shoving of one large individual into the water. Not his fault but what kinda idiot stands on a swim platform equipped with wallet, cell phone, and apparently a lucky $100 vegas chip in his pocket. (nothing was retrieved) but did cause a nice little fight to break out. I'm a jackass had sheriff on speed dial and decided I was done watching this one.

But the best, without a doubt, just doesn't fit into a dumb catagory but more of a priceless one. While tied up to a few boats this last Sunday, watched as a true 60's throw back dressed in full body tie dye navigated his mid 80's bayliner about 50 yards from our boats. Shut the boat down and proceeded to pick up a vintage cast iron Singer Sewing machine curiously tied to 12 feet of chain and 50 feet of rope and chuck it over board securing his boat to the bottom. Priceless!

Unfortunately not, but for some reason Sunday evening has been quite the popular nude time in the cove lately. Sunday evening saw ranges from 3 girls in their 20's to 2 ladies in their 40's. I'm pretty sure they were bought and paid for but nice enough.

As far as Pic's, the admiral can't stop me from looking but I would probably have a problem if I reached for the camera.

Robbo,

Sorry didn't have time with the camera before the old singer went overboard.

As far as lakes from Mike's house, yeah he's not in that bad of shape.

I now remember a conversation shortly after joining this board, went something like this.

"So Mike, I hear you got the boat out of winter storage...congrats! Were headed to Perry Saturday afternoon, I understand the weather will be great. Will we see you there."

Response was something to the tune of, "Well probably not, have to spend the day waxing the boat."

Enough said.
