Your boat. I FINALLY sold my Thompson Cuddy yesterday.

A VERY enthusiastic 27 year old was looking to buy his first boat and found mine in the Boat Trader. He wanted something small enough to learn on, but big enough to enjoy. So with the promise of cash, I drove 200 miles to deliver the boat to him. Very nice guy that I know will take care of her. I had numerous comments from him and his friends on how clean and nice the boat looked. They could not believe it was 18 years old.

So yes, I was very happy to get a fair price out of her, but also kind of sad to see her go. Now I have more $ for toys for my Four Winns!

I'm sick of this happiest day statement. No offense to you personally. It seems like only the occasional boater feels this way.

I can think of several days in the short ownership of this Fourwinns that were better than the day I bought it! Thankfully, I even have pictures to remind me!

Congrats on the sale Dave. I felt the same way when our Sea Ray cuddy sold, and I will feel that way again when our 268 sells. It's just a little happier feeling when you buy a new to you boat, than when you sell your old one. More like relief, that the boat sold, but it is a good/happy feeling overall.

Thanks Brent, I knew you would come through with a pix to cheer me up. I was actually a little sad at seeing it go, but there is no need for two boats so similar at the present time. Now a BIG crusier with my 260 as a dingy.....
