We're headed back to Grand Lake. Hope to have a few more photos for the boards.

Anyone else have big plans for the "last big weekend on the lake"?

I guess i am not the only one who is getting restless at work and yet it isnt even Friday.

It is supposed to rain Saturday so i am counting that day out. We are going to boat in Narragansett bay one day and hit up a local lake another.

Have a great labor day

We're supposed to have 3 good days, so I'll be on the water all 3 at one of the local lakes  It's also Harley fest around here, so I'd prefer to be on the lake than the road dodging bikes.

I just have to set my alarm early to get a parking spot at the launch

Have a safe weekend everyone!

Well lets see,

Leaving in 15 minutes to head to the new slip to take the boat out for a short run with the boy. Then my local boat shop parts guy is showing up to replace the radio at the slip (love those guys)

Then Friday night we will head out for a couple hours I'm sure.

Then Saturday, Sunday, and Monday will be all dayers.

Weather Report:

Today 94 degrees
Friday 91 degrees
Sat, Sun, Monday 82 to 88 degrees and SUNNY

Gotta love the land of OZ

I have duty on Saturday which puts a little damper on that day. I will be hitting up the Potomac river Sunday and local Lake Anna the Monday.

We have 3 perfect days in the forecast so far...... so 3 days of boating sounds good to me!

It's not going to work quite like that though, I have some work around the house tomorrow, but then sunday and monday it will be time on the water. I might even pull the boat out of our regular lake, and tow it to Lake Nipissing, the bigger of our two local lakes.

Yeah, same here as I'm heading to Huntsville for the weekend where we keep our boat at the inlaws place on the water.

3 solid days, ~25ish or better, 0% chance of rain, cloud, or wind it would seem.

I'm blowing every dollar left in the fuel budget this weekend.

I just got the boat back from the shop after last weekend's break down. I'll be on Smithville lake by the time most of you read this. If traffic there is bad, I think I'll be back on the Missouri River by the end of the holiday.

I got "volunteered" by being a "nice-guy" to take my tractor over to one of my wife's co-worker's house to help with some landscaping on Saturday..... I hope to maybe get out a little Saturday late afternoon and evening. Sunday I am hoping to maybe finally catch up with Flying Sushi somewhere in the greater Thousand Islands area. Anybody else want to attempt a meet up? H180??? An all Four Winns raft up at Potter's Beach would certainly make for a nice Tuesday morning post! 8) The weather station is calling for excellent conditions all weekend and Monday too! (Highs of 26 C, 0% P.O.P., Light winds) Bring it on! :P Hopefully I will be able to add another ten or so hours on the clock! This may finally be the type of weekend we have all been dreaming of this year :?: I hope everybody has a safe one :!:

I hope this will be me on Tuesday

We're busy Saturday, but Sunday and Monday have been declared boat days. Looking at the forecast, we might try Lake Michigan with the 260 for the first time. If it's to bumpy, back to the river.

Cool! Don't forget your flares! (an additional safety item required on Lake Michigan).

Waves won't be a problem with your H260! Even if it is wavy get out there and try your boat out in the bigger waves.... We have experienced 5 footers this year and there was no nervousness from my wife... I even made her drive for part of the way!!!

It's looking to be a great weekend up here weather wise, so we will be on the boat for most of it.

We'll be heading over to Canada's largest RibFest in Burlington (where I live) by boat on Saturday and then on Sunday we'll be heading to Toronto to watch the Toronto International Air Show from the water. Did this last year on our smaller 25 footer and it was a bit choppy sitting on lake watching the show, but hopefully with the 318 this year it'll be more comfortable.

Monday we'll probably hit Port Dalhousie near the Wellend Canal entrance, they have a nice beach there.

Hope everyone has a great Labour Day weekend!
