My son starts hockey tryouts and we will be at the arena all weekend... Not to worry, it won't break 65° this weekend. I think the rink will be warmer! I'm hoping to get one last ride in before she goes away for the winter... We have are aready seen temperatures below 32° :(

Hi Zubler. A co-worker of mine's son played hockey for several years, until this year. He used to talk about how much money it cost to play that sport. Holy smokes.

Saturday after the rain cleared out, cruised Northport Bay and Huntington Bay, fished by the Eaton's Neck Lighthouse, didn't get bites, went back into Northport caught a nice size bluefish. Sunday took a good friend who lives in Northport out so they could see how their town looks from the water. Sunday, going out again, maybe more fishing!

Thanks for rubbing it in Bill!
NOTE TO SELF: Ask Bill how is winterazation is coming in a few months while having a cold one on my boat.

Question on the cell modem I seem to recall a thread you had on your setup for access but couldn't find it the other day. Was it on this forum you posted it?

Well Fri. we headed up north to Lake Winnipesaukee for 3 days of boating. Man i have to say it wasn't very busy up there until yesterday. With all the boats and the wind kicking up made for some rough water, but the 180 handled extremely well. We got home about 6 yesterday and after cleaning the boat all up,today is just to sit back and relax.

Touche, I'm sure winterizing will be it's usual fun.

I can't recall where I posted it. I should get around to posting it on my own site. Yeah, one MORE thing for the To Do list. Basically I use it two ways. Either straight into the laptop, or plugging into a Linksys WRT54G3G router. The card slides into the router and then I connect it the router from the laptops via WiFi. The router is a bit expensive (~$200) but it completely eliminates the hassle of sharing our the cell connection to multiple computer (mine, my wifes, the one in the boat, neighbors during raft ups, etc). There are new routers out now that can use a USB cell card instead of one based on a PCMCIA card. I prefer the PCMCIA style as my wife has a tendency to break USB connected devices. The PC card is more secure. But your experience may vary, of course.
