I just thought maybe I'd finally contribute some pictures to show just how beautiful a weekend we had. We also managed to convince some ballast, er, I mean friends to join us for the weekend....

Also, just so everyone can share in my excitment, I finally have a dry bilge. The damn engine flush hose was leaking out the cap under high RPM, which is why I always had ~2 gal. of water in my bilge after a day of playing.

Enjoy. Credit actually goes to our friends for the pictures, as they were wise enough to put their camera on sport mode.

It's taken all season to get to where I'm at. I find that by having an audience I'm progressing faster on the board. Also, I really need to sort out ballast on the boat to clean up the wake.

Our Friend John (Cressa's husband, on the left as viewd) and myself. I know, I'm wearing a girls lifejacket. I forgot mine on the dock.

My wife Kara on the left as viewed in the picture, and her friend Cressa.

I'm still learning, and not quite wake to wake yet. I'll have the ballast/wake dailed in yet I swear.
Image
My wonderful wife Kara, who, without I wouldn't have a boat.

Holy crap. Cool, but damn, so many things could have gone so very wrong with that stunt. You have to clear what, 5-6' horizontally to pull that off no?

Y'alls weekend looks great! I wish mine resembled them. I picked the boat up from the shop on Thur after the previous weekend breakdown. Sat morn launched the boat, got out to the no wake bouys, and Nada. Same problem as before. I trailered the boat back to the dealer just before they closed for the weekend. That's two weekends in a row.... are we going for three?!

It's about 7' to the end of the platform, so you need about 9' distance travel to be safe. Front flips are much less nerve racking.

Flying Sushi and I hooked up at a party cove in the Thousand Islands on Sunday. I will have too download my camera before I can post some pics. I am sure he will too. The place was packed and they even had a guy with his pickup on shore that had a complete sound system setup so the whole place could hear it.

Great pictures...that back flip was cool, not sure I'd try it though.

We spent 3 days on the water this past weekend and had to be at the launch by 8:30 to get on. Looks nothing like in Brent's pictures though. I must be missing something :?

We were without incident until I was helping the neighbor kid start out on the kneeboard and the handle popped out of the clip and clocked me in the lip. I guess there's a reason to have a first aid kit onboard, since it didn't end our day even though it hurt like crazy and I felt like I had just been to the dentist with the numb lip. I just know that kneeboard has it in for me.

We went up north to Lake Winnipesaukee in NH on Fri and came home Sun. All 3 days were great though the wind kicked up on Sun. and made for some rough riding, but the little 180 impressed me a lot with how well she did. Much better than some other 18' boats i've been on. Here are a few pics of the trip
