Not my auction, just thought they might look cool on some of the boats here.

These may look good but , when it comes to a mandated safety device it had better meet the state requirements or you'll be looking at a ticket from the Water Patrol for sure. I didn't see any certified markings or even the type of chemical extinguisher it was on the extinguisher at all. I'd be very careful of this item, to make sure your not wasting money on something you wouldn't be able to use.

Yikes, that's an ugly auction web page! Looks like the guy sells those extinguishers with whatever stickers are popular. Don't know that there's enough open spaces on most boats to make an extinguisher much of a 'vanity item'. More often than not they're out of sight (to avoid the elements gunking them up) but readily accessible. I'd rather have the typical FIRE ENGINE RED colored ones so as to be readily obvious to anyone dealing with a fire on board.

If it gets recharged it'd come with a label stating such. I'd think that would satisfy USCG inspection. Speaking of which, I have get the engine room extinguisher checked before next season...
