I have a nice yellow stain on my H190. I know how to remove it so thats not the question. My question is this:

I have always removed the stain while it was fresh. Pull the boat, scrum the entire thing with soap and water then stain remove and wax it up. Does the stain remover work if I have to wait a week or two before i get to it? Its suppose to rain this weekend but i still need to pull my boat of the water.....

Might depend on what the stain is, and where it is.

I find that the stains need more scrubbing if you let them dry. I always try and scrub the bottom as soon as I take it out. Labour day weekend when I took my boat out on the Monday, I let it dry until Tuesday evening because we pulled pretty late at night so I really had to scrub to get the algae and whatever else off. I use starbrite instant hull cleaner, I transfer it to a spray bottle and spray as I scrub with a brush sometimes I spray it on and let it soak but generally i just spray half of one side, scrub then rinse. Be sure to wash your hull with soap and water when you are done otherwise a white chalky residue will be left on your hull. Oh yeah, if you don't want that same residue all over your trailer, you should cover it. I did the first couple of times but it is a PITA so know I don't bother.

If it is real bad the best I have found to take it off is Slimmy grimmy. The stains just poor off. It is tough stuff.
